Some face and head Sukshma Yoga exercises-

  • Effortlessly massage the sides of your head. This immediately calms the mind.
  • Using your thumb and index finger, pinch your eyebrows 5–6 times.
  • Rotate your eyes 5–6 times, first anticlockwise and then clockwise.
  • Tighten your eyelids, then let them open widely. Do this 10 to 15 times.
  • Pull your ears for 10 to 15 seconds. According to scientists, the lower portion of the ear is home to all the nerves that increase pragya (consciousness).
  • Hold your ears, rotate them both clockwise and anticlockwise until they become warm.
  • From the jawline to the chin, massage your cheeks with your first, middle, and ring fingers. You could do this while maintaining an open mouth. The area between your jaws will be filled with knots. This is where stress resides.Open and shut your jaw, 8–10 times.
  • Open your mouth while moving your jaw side-to-side 8 to 10 times.
  • Rotate your neck. As you breathe in, tilt your head back, and as you exhale, touch your chin to your chest. Make a clockwise rotation with your head. As you ascend (first half of the circle), breathe in, and as you descend (return to the starting position), breathe out (second half of the circle). Do this five or six times clockwise, then anticlockwise.
  • Give your hands a two-minute shake.
